Hello, my name is Joann Rodriguez and I am the new Regional Coordinator. I am an advocate for my child who is considered deafblind. I have attended numerous workshops and symposiums filled with wonderful empowering information.  My main goal is to educate the underserved percentage of parents in our region. I am bilingual and I live in a rural area in El Paso, TX.

I had to learn about the ARD process when my son began attending school. If I had known about the PEN Project back then, maybe there would not have been such confusion during the transition period. But luckily, I am here and I am ready to help parents in need. I look forward to assisting you in the future.
