Rebecca's SonsHi. I’m a mom of 3 wonderful young men, (children), which enrich my life, so that I can enrich yours. I have always been a humble person, with a little arrogance, that’s a good thing. I enjoy life to the fullest preparing my lifes’ journey, for my kids and me. I wake up as you do, one foot on the floor, and know the day will go smooth. When the day hits a brick wall I reflect on the smiles of my kids and the laughter in our hearts. I love knowing I give my smiles and laughter away to other parents. I love the way I can help families and professionals in the educational process and future for our kids.

We’re inviting all parents, professional, and all persons involved with the education and care of all children and young adults with disabilities. We are here to help, assist, follow through, and be an advocate for the children, and young adults in the special education population. We are here to provide you with information to guide you through the education process, help form support groups, and trainings for all involved for our children.

My goal is to have tools for you to help you help your child, or young adult in your life to make life better. It’s a struggle at times and we’re here to try and make the PATH easier for you and professionals.

Going through struggles are a part of life, but we don’t have to go it alone, and now that you know the PATH PROJECT is here for you, then we can start forming relationships with parents, professionals, and all involved in the care for our kids and their future.

The education process is a journey that should be awesome and enjoyed, to reflect back on as the wonderful growing years in our lives it should be the same for all people, including our children, and young adults with disabilities, no matter what. The struggles we may go through should be a natural process, not a hardship in our lives. We all should be able to breathe and know our children will be more than ok, were not asking for the world on a silver platter, but were asking that we all take part in the education process. Learn our childrens’ hearts in order to speak for them. Learn our childrens’ hearts, to help empower them to be in this world as persons of equality, to know that we’re all valued, and we all need an education.

It’s not the law to love and hear our kids’ hearts, but it’s the right thing to do.

Education should never be sitting at a table making people cry, or feel bad, it should be forward progress with all good intent, 100% of the time. Completing an IEP/ARD meeting should lead to incredible team leadership skills, and the forward progress of the childs’, education and future to be first and foremost, the most powerful things we as parents, and professionals can do for the child.
