Advocacy Institute http://www.advocacyinstitute.org/ - The Advocacy Institute is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the development of products, projects and services that work to improve the lives of people with disabilities.

Families and Advocates Partnership for Education - FAPE www.fape.org - FAPE project is a partnership that aims to improve the educational outcomes for children with disabilities. It links families, advocates, and self-advocates to information about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The project is designed to address the information needs of the 6 million families throughout the Country whose children with disabilities receive special education services.

Federation for Children with Special Needs www.fcsn.org - The Federation for Children with Special Needs provides information, support, and assistance to parents of children with disabilities, their professional partners, and their communities.

IDEA 2004 http://idea.ed.gov/ - This new U. S. Department of Education web site was created to provide a one-stop shop for resources related to IDEA and its implementing regulations. The site provides searchable versions of the statute and regulations, as well as, access to cross-referenced content from other laws, such as the No Child Left Behind Act and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

IDEA Partnership www.ideapartnership.org - This web site reflects the collaborative work of more than 55 national organizations, as well as technical assistance providers, and State and local organizations and agencies. Together with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the Partner organizations form a community with the potential to transform the way we work.

Legal Framework for the Child-Centered Educational Process http://framework.esc18.net/ - The Legal Framework for the Child-Centered Process is a template in an electronic format that summarizes state and federal requirements for special education by topic. It is a Texas Education Agency project under the state leadership of Region 18 Education Service Center.

National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities - NICHCY www.nichcy.org - This site offers information on: Disabilities in infants, toddlers, children, and youth, IDEA, and No Child Left Behind, and effective educational practices based on research.

Wrightslaw www.wrightslaw.com - This site offers accurate, current information about special education law and advocacy for children with disabilities.
